Personally speaking, I wouldn't put up with a 4-month wait - discount or not.

There are plenty of online suppliers (auction sites or found via a google search), buy a kit, and either use one of the many 'how-to' repair guides on the forum or employ the services of an auto-electrician.

That way you can (if you wish) dispose of your car sooner, rather than later - it may end-up costing you more in depreciation and further repairs than a discounted regulator.
