99% of all cars have faults of some kind so trading it in won't be an immoral thing to do, and the big dealerships do have their detailed pre-sales checks before putting a car back up for sale.
Also it may depend on whether you are trading for a Used or Brand New car and how keen the sales-person is keen to make a sale for the months target.
I think its only wrong if they ask you if it has any known faults and you don't answer honestly.
No doubt you'll be shopping around so try a couple of the more unlikely dealers out first and see how they respond.
