That's too much information to give away (8 garages sets alarm bells ringing) and is good grounds to knock you down on price if you are sounding very unconfident in your car. Remember the sales people love a punter they can twist around their little finger. By all means mention the occasional misfire but don't sound apologetic about it, say it as a matter of fact. In the sales persons mind they might be thinking "easy fix" and keep any offer at a decent figure. Dealing is a game of personalities and psychology between buyer and seller.
