Can clip and electronic parking brake
First post so apologies if it is in the wrong place.
I have an intermittent error with the electronic parking brake on my other halves Scenic (2006). The rear brakes were binding so I replaced the discs, pads and handbrake cables and everything seemed fine. Every now and then it beeps and shows the parking brake error on the dash, and the brake will not release or apply. Before I invest in a can clip reader, or take the car to Renault, can someone confirm how useful can clip is for diagnosing faults on the handbrake system (e.g. will it pinpoint faults with individual switches/sensors and will it allow adjustment of set parameters)?
Thanks in advance.
