Re: which towbar onto fitted parking sensors?

Until recently,I had no interest in a towbar on my present car.
Now I have.. and Id never even considered the parking sensors , till this thread.

I was gonna go for the "flip down/detachable" towball, purely on appearance.
Maybe there is a null zone as already suggested. My tow ball would be right close to the middle and with a standard renault fitting ,Id expect it not to be detected.

Itd be really annoying if it was,.
My reversing distance with a sticking out bar(if the bar was undetected)would be reduced a little .. ,and I do tend to grab another few inches even after I get "full tone".

Its all about the bar/hitch itself right?
I mean with something connected to the bar and you select reverse, the beeper will go off.
That doesnt really matter does it.just a warning to you that you have reverse engaged ,not like the sensors are gonna help you park youre caravan/trailer

Currently in coup's garage:
RM III coupe 1.5dci FVT,Audi TT Mk1 ,a bike and too much rubbish.
