Re: After MoT - check parking brake

If the wheels (front or rear) move when the handbrake is on, the computer assumes that the parking brake has failed.
Like when the front end is up in the air and the tester wobbles the wheels.
Hence the warning messages.

Assuming there is no "real" fault, they should self clear after a few operations of the brake and ignition.
There is also a reset procedure where you turn on the ignition without starting the car (no feet on pedals, press and hold start button until dash lights up)
Then release parking brake manually. (press and hold small button in middle of handbrake pull. Pull the main pull handle while holding the centre button) May need to repeat a few times.

If neither works, you will need a diagnostic.
