Where shall I start. Two years ago I transfered from Gatwick to Heathrow Airport, my daily journey to work is now 35 miles each way (M25). It took about one week to realise that motorway information signs lie like a cheap watch, and should be ignored at all times. But my real gripe is variable speed limits (junction 10 to my exit at junction 14). Are these operated by real people or is it a "care in the community" project. They seem to be used in a very hap-hazard fashion, sometimes being left on for days at a time, for no apparent reason. Also, as many of the gantrys are equipped with speed cameras, this would appear to be yet another revenue gathering excercise.
I also agree that the general standard of driving is going downhill, especially lane disapline on motorways and roundabouts.
