Laguna estate tailgate boot latch removal
I had somebody hit my car last year and it was repaired to a very high standard through the insurance, i was gobsmacked how well the storm blue paint matched. They did however let themselves down by not refitting the lights properly and the tailgate hit against them. They are now aligned correctly but when the boot slams it can sometimes go too far and hit the light units. Now i did think maybe the two rubber stoppers had shrunk so i've ordered some from france which take two weeks to arrive. Another idea ive had is to adjust the latch 'hook' slightly so the boot latches sooner and doesnt hit the light. I removed the polished metal kick plate inside the boot to reveal the latch bolted into the body. The bolts however i cannot remove. The best way i can describe them is a flat topped circle with a flat segment cut out of it, like a sun thats partly behind the horizon. Anybody know what these bolts are called so i can source a socket?
