After picking up my van, I would have to say that my independent mechanic has done a great job installing the new clutch & slave cylinder.
My only dislike of the result is that instead of the disengagement & the re engagement of the clutch being 1 second it now is 2 seconds which sometimes seems a lifetime, particularly with the change from 1st to 2nd.
The mechanic has informed me that there are no fault codes now. Is there any reason why it should be taking longer to change gear?
