An idea suggested by an AA man: disconnect the battery for 10 minutes (the old switch off at wall and reboot). Reckons that ought to reset the computer and might sort out the problem. Warning given was to make sure you have the code for the radio and KEEP THE KEYCARD WELL AWAY FROM THE CAR, lest your pride and joy wipes it for you.

reminds me that the alledge GM press release isn't quite as funny when you've got a Renault...
