Ordering Renault Parts
The wife ordered a high level brake light for her Clio as it failed MOT, at the back of my mind i thought that because they asked her to pay up front that it would be special order, she wasnt told this when she paid over the phone, anyway i went to pick it up 2 days later and asked the chap at the parts desk if it still did not work would it be ok to return for a refund as obviously it wasnt the light but a wiring fault, he said no problem just keep the receipt.
Guess what i took it back as i found one on
for 1/2 the price (told them if was a wiring fault), now they have said i will have to wait and see what Renault HQ say as it was special order and they dont do refunds, i explained neither my wife or i was told this and that i specifically asked when i picked the light up if it would be ok to return.
What do people think, shall i keep pushing for a refund (£30) as its no good even to just sit in the garage coz its never going to get used. Might have been different if it was brake pads etc.
