Re: Should I buy a cheap scenic II?

there are no manufacturer or Haynes type manuals produced for several models of Renault,
But there IS one for the MK2 Scenic #4297 Covers 53 to 06 Diseasel & Petrol BUT doesn't cover some of the obscure body electrical things. But you don't do electrics, so shouldn't bother you.
You haven't said what area you hail from. Maybe some kind Scenic 2 owner close to you, would be kind enough to show you round theirs so you know what to expect from a good one?
When buying from the likes of Gumtree, I always click the "see other items from" button, If there's another car, I don't buy. When I ring, I say "I'm ringing about the car", If they have to say "which one" they're trading.
Good Hunting.
