If I was you I would not use a power washer on the bodywork of the car, they are a lot more powerful than the ones at the garages, a normal hose, car shampoo and sponge is enough.
They are too powerful and the water will get into places you never thought it would, it is good for cleaning the wheels and under the body and wings though.
I mainly use mine for cleaning patios etc, they are so powerful I do not use any detergent, any dirt is just blasted off!
