A quick phone call to consumer advice should put that straight.
I would also discuss with the dealer that by removing the car you are not accepting that the fault has been fixed and you want to know if the issue has been escalated to Renault Technical dealer services - have the second opinion discussion with them making it clear you are not satisified with the work carried out on your car which has introduced a new fault that was not present before.
TBH - it sounds like loose cable harness in the dash .... disturbed when they were fitting the new airbag computer ! .... just a thought ..... have they only used diags to find the problem or have they dismantled the dash to check that they put it back together properly ... or even used the correct parts ?
Hope it helps
Why is it the older I get .... the better I think I was ?
