New to the forums saying hi!

Hello all, newby here, just bought my first Renault!

I was offered a 2004 Grand Scenic Privilege 1.9 cdi, just when I was looking for a second car to carry all the grandkids my brood are making

With 115k miles I hope that I have not bought a bag of nails but a lovely car I can use daily - after I fix a few items...

  • Need a new front bumper (cracked & stitched together with wire staples!)
  • Just replaced the headlights with new from ebay
  • Booked in for a full service ( no history with the car)
  • Booked in for a Cambelt change (better safe than sorry).
  • Booked in for an MOT 3 months early (just to ID any other potential issues)

Some other small niggles I'll be trawling the forums for...

  • Heater fan only works on position 3
  • NSR fog light is not working (something to do with the absolute bodge job someone made in fitting a tow bar with dual electrics)
  • Usual range of faults... Check injector occasionally comes up alongside Check Parking Brake (goes away if brake used & released) and Check Airbag too...

Ah well when my ELM327 module arrives I can sort those out. I cant expect everything to work for only 750

Looking forward to contributing and joining in with all you nice helpful people.
