Hi Skewit - take the car to an empty car park or such and get someone to drive the car in a circle in both directions whilst you stand in the centre that way you may be able to detect which bearing is most likely to be groaning. I might be wrong but I suspect the right one because when the car is turning right some of the weight of the car is taken off the right hand bearing and transfered to the left - worn bearings tend to get noisier when a load is applied. Wheel bearing can notorioiusly difficult to detect even by the experts.
