Hi again, that could be the answer but it depends on the type of rattling it is, very difficult without actually hearing the noise. If it's a mechanical clickety click type rattle then it could be a little bit more serious. If a cam follower is worn or a crankshaft shell bearing then the noise will reduce slightly when the engine is revved because firstly the increased engine noise will cover the rattle somewhat and also more oil is being pumped round the engine masking the noise further. If you have a mechanics stethoscope have a listen to bothe the top and bottom end of the engine, if not try a long screwdriver and place the blade on the top and bottom of the engine while it is just on tickover and put your ear to the handle, hopefully it will just be the engine mounting.
