There is usually only ONE wiper motor, which is linked together with an "arm".
As the wiper was still stuck to the screen the motor still tried to move it, and the "spindle" may well have turned slightly before the wiper arm moved - this may have loosened the fixing nut.
With the wiper in the parked position lift up the cover where the wiper is attatched to the spindle - move arm into correct place and tighten nut. This may well cure your problem. It is probably all over the place at the moment because it is not tight enough so not moving properly with motor spindle.
This is the best case scenario, worst case is you have bent wiper arm/mechanism and damaged motor.
