Door open sensor not working properly

Hi everyone,

Has anyone experianced this before, on my Vels Satis the memory seat stopped working. I also noticed that the marker light on the inside of the drives door had aldo stopped working. It wasnt the buld, and the seat were still working by pressing the button just not via the memory through the key card.

Anyway, as i had the door open and was messing around with something else, suddenly the door light came on, and the seat moved to the memory position. So the memory is obviously triggered by the door open switch as obvioulsy the light is. Any it would seem that rather than a regular pin type push switch around the door perimeter like on most cars, in this door it seems to be the door latch mechanism that does it.

There must be a switche attached to the latch or something anyone else had this???
