Managed to get to dash display, and found small break in film circuit - so have repaired and all bulbs illuminating now.
But still have problems with airbag warning at start-up and ABS light on constantly, also the speedo stopped working shortly after ABS problem!
Have started to think about possibilty of a bad earth, but without a manual for the car it's like looking for a needle in a haystack - have you any idea where any of them are (I've found one by the driver's foot well which seems OK)?
Failing that I've thought about going to a Renault Specialist Breakers, and either swapping the digital dash display or the
that controls the Speedo, ABS and Airbag - do you think that might sort the problem?
Any help would be appreciated!
Easiest way to check if it is a bad earth is to use a jump lead. Clip one end to the negative( make sure!! as positive will damage the ecu
) on battery and the other to the casing off the
Hope it helps,
