Not really shedding much light on anything but one difference I see between your 2 choices, is that the dearer ones have a tapered 'washer', whereas the others are 'one-piece'. I have been told that the washer type is for alloys although I can't see what difference that makes, as alloys usually have a steel insert where the bolt tightens against, don't they?
I think you're doing the right thing changing them all, if one has been tightened to the point of cracking/breaking, then others must be stretched too.
Oh and +1 for grease, or
is just as good (not WD40 though).. and put some around the hole in the middle of the wheel too, it can corrode on to the hub and make the wheel difficult to remove
