Is whats meant by a dry joint is that over time the solder joint on diode 101 (shown in the picture above) has become cracked and has turned into a poor electrical conductor. If you look very very closley at the joint you will probable see faint cracks. Is all it needs is a touch with the soldering iron and a little solder added. This should fix the problem. Nothing has dropped off.
