It's possible to retro-fit cruise control to just about any car. While it's unlikely to be practical to fit the factory spec cruise system, there are plenty of after-fit ones that can be fitted by a garage or even a competent DIY-er.

A Google search will turn up loads of options, but here's one for starters:

Beware that some of the cheapest units are basically an electric hand throttle as opposed to proper cruise control. These units simply hold a set throttle position, so the car will speed up going downhill and slow down when going uphill. I've heard of people buying and installing these cheap units and being perfectly happy with them, but if you really want proper cruise control (that automatically adjusts the throttle to maintain the vehicle speed under different conditions) then make sure that's what you buy.
