Did you read the link in my last? Lots of clear pictures. If there is soldering it's only a couple of wires to the motor? Know what you mean about working outside, did a cambelt & waterpump in minus summat weather.
EPB module unplugs, just need to unbolt from body & unclip the cables. Then you can do the box inside, nice & warm.
Sometimes (other posters report) unplugging the EPB for a while & operating the EPB handle before reconnecting will reset when they communicate again.
Looks like you'll be parking in gear for a few days, hope you don't need to do a hill start up the Struie!!
