I agree - everyone was a learner once after all!
Though on the flip side of the coin, this has reminded me of one of my pet peeves: Numpty driving instructors who take students out on busy roads at peak times, when the student clearly hasn't built up sufficient confidence to drive at a sensible speed.
I agree absolutely that learner drivers have to deal with real traffic, but I get the impression that some are having this thrown at them on their first lesson before they've even got the hang of making the car go, stop and go around corners.
Should I put my flameproof suit on now?
