does look like they are completely repairable, even if the motor or electronic components fail, without resorting to the dealers or complete replacements which will hopefully preserve the life of these cars.

My feeling is that the garage activated the handbrake with the cables off which jammed the mechanism and that's probably what caused the relay to burn out...i guess it was lucky that it was just the relay and not something more difficult to repair! Impossible to prove though and one to just chalk up to (bad garage) experience...if only i hadn't been so lazy and just changed the pads myself :lol:

That symbol appears on my copy of ddt but it does seem to work fine....probably cause it's not exactly legit

I'll definitely hang about - my next crusade is to find a way of getting a cheap second keycard
