hi MN
So let me just get this right, you CAN remove the valve cores on the sensor type valve ????
(on silverstone rim)
The "fitter" was actually just changing a worn tyre.
I took it back today and he swore blind that they do come out, saying that he`d done a couple just the other day.
Anyway he jiggled the pin part around for a couple of minutes so that the valve was bearly leaking then he put what he called a pressure cap on the valve, to be honest he put washing-up liquid solution on it and there was no leak. he said they use the pressure caps on lorries for extra safety?
Is this tosh? and more important, is it safe?
