I didn't check it was the correct fuse for the same (radio code) reason. The Renault handbook for my 1997 Scenic says it is 15A and shown with a picture of a clockface (clock/radio/alarm/electric rear view mirrors, it says). The sticker on the fuse box shows it as on the second row of the box, 6th from the left. (The headlights are in positions 1 to 4 of that row)
It's probably NOT the cigar lighter/instrument illum one (row 2, position 7) because that is only live when the ignition is switched on.
I've pulled the radio fuse and the radio didn't loose it's code and the mirrors still opereated as normal.
