Just curious but are you sure my insurance is invalidated? I checked my policy wording (certificate still has my previous car details on so is no good) and it doesn't mention anything about having valid car tax/vechical licensing. Just surprised the police man let me off and continue on my way once confirming my insurance and mot details if it would have been invalid, I even told him I was on my way to relativies before returning home.
Anyway guys thanks for you replies
I'm sure selwonk works in insurance in his day job from what i can remember. But i am also aware that insurance is invalid without relevant MOT or tax (thats 'either' and not just 'both' is my understanding)
Believe me, insurance companies will try anything to get out of paying out on a claim these days.
