Although I'm originally from Dundee (and still visit family up there), I've lost touch with the various garages, so wouldn't like to recommend one over another.

I'd be inclined to visit as many as possible for quotes (they will vary greatly), but also to assess the 'types' of establishment each is - will they do the job properly, promptly and at a reasonable price? All these factors should be taken into consideration.

Also, ensure that each is quoting for the same work - some of the larger firms will be looking to completely replace the entire unit, rather than carry out a localised (but still intensive) repair.
