Laguna 2 Alarm and SatNav guides

Hello, I bought my ex-lease Laguna 2 with barely any manuals at all, it did however have a fully documented service history for me to read. I was wondering if there is anywhere I could download the Alarm and SatNav manuals for this car?. Any help greatly appreciated. Nige

The original sat-nav manual is next to useful anyway. It really didn't tell you anything that you wouldn't have worked out for yourself after a couple of days of playing with it. If you wanted to know more comples stuff, like how to effectively use the 'detour' function then forget it - that kind of in depth information just wasn't there.

The software in the unit is largely based on the VDO Dayton system of the time and so their manuals can be quite helpful. Here's a link to the MS5000 manual - just remember that Carminat is a custom version of this software for Renault, and there are differences. Not everything in the manual will apply to Carminat.

I've had two Laguna II's from new so far, and neither has come with a manual for the alarm. There might be some reference made to it in the main handbook (how to disarm the ultrasonics etc.) but that's about your lot.
