Re: Haynes Manuals

Bought one from Amazon when I bought my Laguna with gremlins but it was as much use as a bicycle to a fish. For example it tells me the fuse for my sunroof is in a second fuse box in the passenger compartment but won't show me where the fusebox is hidden.
It also says many times "take it to your Renault Dealer.
Disappointed with it I am.

Re: Haynes Manuals

Haha, it was the fuel filter on the diesel Lag 1 that I had to hammer a screwdriver into... I still have yet to successfully utilise my filter wrench... I do now have a Lag 2 Hayes manual, sure it'll be as useless as the last one (although at least the pages are attached to the cover!) I looked at the wiring diagram and it gave me nightmares for a week (although that's Renault fault for making the car too complicated) :P having said that, the colours seem to match up to the harness in this car, which is quite remarkable.

I have one for all my cars, including the 1987 E28!

Seems to me that the more recent Haynes manuals are saying more and more to "use specialist diagnostic equipment!" blah blah!
They're harder and harder to use.

The older '80s manuals have loads more pictures and detailed instructions, although the spanner rating is missing and the pages are yellow with age!
