Re: Haynes Manuals

I've got a Haynes manual for the Lag. I use it mainly for keeping the garage door from blowing shut because it's all it's good for.

Couldn't agree more. I have one for an E93A ford, which I keep, it tells you things like how to set up a diff. Lately the quality of the paper is rubbish, Haynes when I complained tried to tell me that a well known store told them they actually wanted them on **** paper, and the photos are soooo murky. I have a Laguna one tells you how to get the gearbox out (not really, you have to switch all over the place, and then doen't explain things very well anyway) and then tells you if you want to service the cogbox you are on your own. Really useful not, if we wanted to take a gearbox out, why did they think they we wern't going to want to look inside? I reckon they write the manual after taking a deco at the official one, and skip the actually touching the car bit, like they claim. Good job ity only cost me a quid!
