Good advice Or a very small chisel used to turn the nut could also help. It's worked for me in the past

Trouble is,there is very little of the bolt head showing. It's a flat T30 Torx head screw,so you can't hit a smaller socket onto it,and you have to be carefull not to damage the coil with a chisel. They also sometimes have a drop of locktite on the threads, which can make removal even more fun!

Good luck,DeeBeeS,and let us know how you get on.

Coil bolt rounded help to undo

Just a quick update, managed to undo by tapping in a slightly larger socket and have changed the plug. Have been able to cut the top of the bolt and have re-used it using a flat blade screw driver.

Thanks for your help and advice.
