Question Do I wait or confront

After a visual health check on my Scenic in December at Renault I was told that the inner ball joint, left side was worn/damaged. I couldn't afford the repair at the time and decided to wait until its MOT and service was due. Last week I had four tyres fitted at National Tyres, they did a similar visual health check and besides the wheel alignment being out they didn't find any problems, this surprised me and I told them about the inner ball joint wear/damage, so they went back and checked again and told me that there was nothing wrong with it. I'm now going to book it in for its MOT and service, I was going to confront them about their report on the ball joint, but my brother says to wait and see if they pick it up again. What do you think I should do, confront or wait.

I'd have a chat with Renault Customer Service RCS & discuss this issue, that sort of dealer needs stitching up, big time.

That's exactly what I'd do also - I wouldn't darken their door again.

This job should never be complete - the day I think I've done it all, is the day I resign.
