Glass Scratch Repairs

I've got a scratch on the passenger door glass of the Porker. It looks like somebody has done it with a key or ring or something, I suppose I should be grateful they left the paint alone for once

I believe you can polish out scratches on glass using a polishing compound. A quick Google came up with this kit

Has anybody ever tried anything similar?

No - but that looks just like the thing I am looking for. There is a scratch on the Lag w/screen when a tractor I was following threw up a huge pile of mud/stones.
If it's as good as it says then 20 looks worth spending on it.

i've tried something like it on my treasured old Datsun 240Z
with great results.
but one tip i was given was to finish off with "jewellers Rouge", the stuff used to polish diamonds.
i can't remember where i found the rouge,(pre web days) but i t made for a great job.
