Trouble filling up with diesel on my 1998 Laguna 1.9DTi sports.

I am having trouble filling up with diesel on my 1998 Laguna 1.9DTi sports. It's OK to start with but takes ages to fit the last 20Litres in.Last time the pump clicked off so may times the pump switched off completely.
Any help appreciated.

I'm sure someone had the same problem on here before try a search.

I think the problem was solved by pulling the nozzle of the pump further out of the tank.

More or less as HONDO said, try adjusting the pump nozzle up, down, left, right, when filling until you find the best position.

Either that,or you might have a fuel tank breather pipe blocked somewhere.

Try the above filling method, and if you have no joy,get back to us.
