Re: Fog light broken glass - MOT issue?

Cover them up with black tape and make it look a bit permanent just before you take it in for MOT.

Re: Fog light broken glass - MOT issue?

Predictably they denied any responsibility and said they are 200% positive that it was like that when I brought it in...

Of course, without any hard proof, I can't prove them wrong. It's a shame that you have to take a load of pictures all around your car when you take it in to a garage just to prove what the state of it was when it went in.

I do have the option of taking the 'traditionally British' approach of never going back and telling work colleagues about them.
Currently in Salvidar's garage:
Laguna II (Phase 1 - '05), 2.0, Initiale Sport Tourer
