Question Loose pipe

Hi folks - unsure of where to post this question but here goes. Our Megane II was in for a left hand front indicator repair on Friday, and this morning we noticed this small plastic pipe hanging out of the cavity just behind the front mudflap(arrowed).Looks like the little clip (circled) wasn't re-attached properly.
What is this pipe for and should the end of it be attached to something,as well as it being clipped into place?

Thanks for your help.

Re: Loose pipe

Try dribbling a bit of water round the sun roof if it as one, its most likely a drain for something it most likely just clips somewhere but don't know were.

Re: Loose pipe

Could also be a battery drain pipe.
