Got the car back and everything is working fine but we are still keeping everything crossed, they still insist that the ecu wasn't correctly connected but nobody can understand this, even the garage where we bought it have doubts. We were wondering if the dealers had incorrectly connected something when they replaced the steering rack as beofre this we didn;t have any problems with the battery my husband says it is like driving a totally different car. Thanks for all your help

If the ECU is on a plug that only fits one way, I would say that the dealer is attempting to give you some bovine effluent.

I trust that everything has been carried out under warranty!!!!
