I would try and get hold of some spray grease.Fill the locks up with the stuff,and just keep working the key.Eventually it should start working.
We have this problem with a lot of Peugeots,and they do a special spray grease which turns to a jelly like substance,might be worth trying to get hold of some and give it a go.We have some at work(I've had to use it on a 406 today!),so if you need any details of the can,let me know.
I'd rather push my Alfa than drive a BMW....
