Check for rust on rear arches, later cars are better(phase 3's), usual Renault electric gremlins, check the rubber seal on the sunroof, baxterd for leaking, front wheel bearings can be problematic, even new ones grumble if put in wrong (have to be put in squarely with a press(I learnt that the hard way)), seats are sporty, but, do wear on the outside, usually squashed side bolsters, performance is entertaining, leave the handbrake off after a hard run (warped discs) fuel economy is not bad for the car, spares are easy,, watch out for insurance, pays to shop around, engine is sweet, quite grunty low down with a nice induction roar if you fit a K&N, keep the standard alloys (although the diamond coating does go iffy)best size for performance and replacing the tyres. Any more questions just ask.
