Problems with my Car but i still love her

hello people, yes im a newbie, i need some help first of all i have the same problem.
Got a flat tyre, one wheel nut is stuck cant be drilled out therfore i have to pay 200 for a new hub its bearings and the labour, im am not a happy bunny at the moment.
My battery light keeps on flashing the alternator has been checked and nothing has been found.
And last of all my husband applied the handbrake earlier on and we heard a loud crack and now the hand brake seems to pull up lighter and alot higher, whereas it was stiff before, is it broke i dont know please help me.
I havent really got the money for these repairs and i dont reallly want to waste anymore as i have just recently been ripped of by a lovely man on ebay for a hub and its bearings, because i tried to do it the cheap way.
Help Please

Hi clio rsi,

Unfortunately all the more tech minded people seem to be offline at the moment but I'm sure someone will come along to assist you with the probs mentioned.

Read this thread on the handbrake, you could have a broken rear caliper, it is a problem on the Laguna, not sure about the Clio though.

Have you or your garage tried heating up the stuck wheel nut I allways have this problem on my van and a little heat allways frees of the offending nut .

The flashing battery light could be down to a bad earth problem or a loose battery conection .

As for your handbrake it could be a broken calliper or a broken cable

Hope you get sorted soon
