Are Renault youre prefered make?

Im just wondering if you all prefer Renault to the likes of Ford, Vauxhall and Honda?

Ive got a Clio, and its got some problems. According to a lot of other people, their Clios have problems too!!
Because of this im probably not going to buy a Renault again.

I want a Peugeot 206 or Honda Civic now!!!
As long as it reliable and wont have problems ill buy it!!!

I would prefer to drive a Land rover series 2

But because I am getting old and starting to feel the cold I am loving the luxury of my Laguna

A lot of new cars have problems these days, you just have to look at how poorly new Mercedes feature in things like the JD Powers survey!

I think the problem is down to vehicles being overly complex. One thing with Renualts is that they tend to come with a lot of kit for the money - lots more things to go wrong.

I've only ever owned one Renault and I was very pleased with it despite a few problems, all of which were dealt with under warranty. Having said that I wouldn't own one without a warranty and ended up selling it before it was three years old for just that reason.

We have had a k reg diesel clio, an N reg petrol 19, a T reg petrol Megane, have a Y reg diesel laguna priv at the moment which is being changed for a 55 reg diesel laguna priv next week.
Can you spot a pattern here Wouldn't say Renault were our make of choice just that they offer far more than other brands. Also their styling is far better ( in my opinion) than the others. In fact we looked at most other makes when looking for a new one and ended up getting another Laguna.
We have not had any problems with any of our renaults although I know some people have, and on that basis will always consider and recommend them.
