Goodbye Scenic

Yesterday morning whilst stationary at traffics lights a trailer came off a tractor and piled into my Scenic.
The car is a right off but I escaped with a broken finger.
The Scenic's safety system worked as it should and although the car will not see the road again, I will thanks to this car

Glad you're ok & only escaped with "minor" injuries".
Looks nasty!
As you say, cars can be replaced, you can't!

Glad your OK and thanks for the piccy. I find there is nothing more sobering than when you see a photo of a car which is the same model as the one you own that been in a serious bash ! It just reminds you of how vulnerable you can be in your cocoon of metal and airbags.

Mind you I havent see a messed up Scenic II yet, so I watch the Renault crash test video every now and again.

I remember when the Land Rover Disco came out, thinking what a tank it was..... until I saw a news item when one had tipped on its side.... a truck had then come along and took the roof clean off.... and its driver too !!!!
