Renault or PT Cruiser?

After writing off my Scenic now i'm now looking out for a new car. I've looked a a PT Cruiser and quite like it although it's missing a few bits my Scenic had. As I travel about 40k a year I need a good reliable, economical car. The Scenic mkII is on the shopping list but mine was the last of the mkI so I have no experiance of the mkII's

What do you recon folk?

I'm with davesssssssssss on this one. The PT looked great when it came out but now its a little ZZ Top turned undertaker!! Not dated very well.

I'd go with the Scenic or, if you can hold on, the new Picasso! A nice looking car.

I'd definately go with the Scenic......

The build quality of the PT Cruiser is pretty shocking, and from memory the crash tests were equally as poor.....

The Scenic is more comfortable,as reliable, better to drive and people won't laugh at you behind your back.

I'd rather push my Alfa than drive a BMW....
