Re: stuck track rod end
My two penny's worth :
I am reasonably sure i counted the number of threads fairly accurately and put them back into the same position, but when i took it to the garage they gave it a once over said id fitted everything right checked it was all tight etc... however i asked them about checking the tracking as it just didnt feel quite right.
They did and with the Lag II it should be 0 +/- 1/2mm mines was near 8mm, oops... so my advice would be if you do the track rod ends, do both then go get the tracking checked and adjusted for only £15 you can save your tyres a lot of hard. Apparently each thread count is about 2mm so an inaccuracy of 1/2 threads is quite a lot.
Thanks for the advice and help on the forum in regards to doing the job.
