Exclamation Service warning light

I have had my Megane serviced but not by a main dealer. How do I get the service light on the dash to go out without going to the dreaded main dealer???

Re: Service warning light

unless you have a code reader box where you can reset it you cant do it dont necessarily have to go to a main dealer to have this reset any good garage should be able to do this with ease

Re: Service warning light

On most Renaults the service reminder interval can be reset yourself - many, many members have been able to do so.

If you posted up the year, exact engine type and if the car has an onboard mileage ccomputer I'm sure a member will be able to guide you through the reset process.

Use the button on the stalk that controls the menu.the one where you can select your mpg, miles until fuel needed, ave speed etc. Push it until you get to where it says your mileage until next service. Hold in the the button until it's says reset? Then select yes, wait, and it should go back to 18,000 until next servie
