MkII Espace: 2WD to 4WD?

Did Renault make a MkII 4WD Espace variant, or just a MkI?

If they did do a MkII 4WD, is it the same body shell as a 2WD variant? Can I swap parts from a 4WD onto a 2WD, to convert it to a 4WD?

Are the gearboxes the same, what engines were used in the 4WD?

I can only seem to find limited info on the 4WD variants, so sorry for the 'newbie' questions, but I figured you lot would be the clued up ones!

Re: MkII Espace: 2WD to 4WD?

Doing a quick online search seems to suggest that there were mk2 Quadras but I'm not sure they were ever officially brought into the UK.The mk2 shares the same chassis as the mk1 so I can see no reason why parts couldn't be swapped between the two,not sure the work involved would bring any great benefits though.Finding a mk1 Quadra to take the parts from will be tough enough, there aren't many mk1's left and I suspect only a small handful of working Quadras.
