Question Central locking

I have a Renault Laguna 1.9 alize 1999. When you click the key fob the locks click up and down but do not lock. I have tried changing the battery in the key fob but this did not work. I can manually lock each door individually but not the boot. There is no key hole for the boot.

Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

welcome to the forum. does it lock using the button in the car ? if so lock the car using that then lock the drivers door when you exit. Might help short term until you get more help.
